June 18th Update

Only a handful of landmarks left now, this week is the Villain’s base:

The Group hides out in the warehouse district, so I used the colours from those concepts, but then used some of the logos on the blindfold code followers as graffiti to make it stand out a bit more, while still keeping it discrete enough to be a useful hideout. I plan on adding more detail to little things like the boards covering the windows when I’m making the 3d models, but overall I’m happy with it.

July 9th Update

Ok, second of the Human District buildings this week:

I’m keeping with the Venetian Theme from last week, but I based this design off of apartments in Venice rather than Villas:


In particular I really liked the Balcony and window boxes which add a lot of character to the building. I also wanted to highlight the Technology of the Human sectors so I added an automated door, which while a last minute addition but its probably my favorite part of the building.

May 7th Update

Second week of building concepts, I’m starting to find a flow with the designs:

Like last week’s concepts I’m working off of a similar colour palette to Twilight town for this section of the city, but I’ve been experimenting with more complex shapes,  I really like this one, but I need to work on my basic perspective with geometric shapes, the windows in the top section look very off, that being said I think I got the basic idea of this building, enough to accurately recreated it in 3D which is the most important part.

April 16th Update

Second last weapon update, a small redesign of Haru’s weapon:

Its mostly small tweaks to this one the middle spike is a little bit longer and I made it extend longer than the previous designs:

Febuary 26th Update

Onto another Weapon concept this week, Commander Izanagi‘s weapon:

Aside from a few cyberpunk ideas I found on google, the two main insperations I drew from for these swords were Nero’s sword from Devil May cry 4, the Red Queen:

Honestly I love a lot of these designs, so its going to be tough to choose, luckily the Commander doesn’t have any fights in the first season so I have plenty of time to choose, but I still thought I’d design some for the sake of completeness.

In other news my college course has given me a project that’s a perfect opportunity to start story boarding the teaser for Fade, its a scene from very late in the series, I honestly don’t have much planned other than the Scene itself, but its a great point to show people where the story will go without giving the whole plot away, so expect news of that over the next few weeks.
